Bernheim is a contemporary art gallery founded in Zürich by Maria Bernheim in 2015.

Since its inception, Bernheim has aimed to showcase international contemporary artists with distinctive and individual artistic vocabularies. The gallery’s main objective is to contextualize the work of emerging artists within art historical traditions, helping viewers recognize the shared interests and common references that connect these artists to the broader artistic discourse.

In the fall of 2023, Bernheim expanded to a new permanent location in the heart of Mayfair, London. Housed in a historic listed building that exemplifies classic British architecture, the new gallery offers artists a platform to present their work to a broader and more international audience. At a time when emerging voices urgently need visibility and recognition, we seek to create an environment that fosters collaboration and innovation.
