Sam Creasey (b. 1993 Maidstone, UK) is based in London. His work emerges as a profound exploration of the intricate relationship between human emotion and the surrounding architecture, infrastructure, and socio-political systems. Central to Creasey's artistic vision is the city of London itself, a vast and complex organism shaped by the collective dreams and desires of its inhabitants. Each piece encapsu-lates a moment in time, frozen in vibrant colour and striking texture, inviting the viewer to contemplate the layers of history, culture, and emotion that reside within the UK. Recent exhibitions include a solo at Quip and Curiosity, Cambridge, group shows at Andrew Reed, New York and with V.O Curations, Lon-don. He was the recipient of the Glyndebourne Art prize in 2018 and is a graduate of MA Painting at the Royal College of Art (2020).
