Presented by the School of Art Collection and Galleries at Kent State University, the exhibition features the work of visiting artists and resident faculty working in ceramics, glass, painting and textiles.
Participating artists include Peter Christian Johnson, Janina Myronowa and Malcolm Mobutu Smith in ceramics; Davin Ebanks, Helen Lee and Kimberly Thomas in glass; Shawn Powell, Sarah Slappey and Leslie Smith III in painting; and John Paul Morabito, Indira Allegra and Paolo Arao in textiles.
The exhibition runs through June 13 in the CVA Gallery at the Center for the Visual Arts, 325 Terrace Drive, Kent, with an opening reception from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday. Admission is free, and the work is presented with support from the Ohio Arts Council.
Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.
