The second Zurich Biennial will take place in the periphery, at the Bechtler Stiftung in Uster, a suburb of Zurich. It will last exactly 24 hours and bring together works by thirty five artists. While the first Zurich Biennial covered 500 m² at Kunsthalle Zurich and showed 200 works, the 2025 edition is limited to 2.88 m². It consists of a single table set for a single person who will never come or has already left.
For the Zurich Biennial (Uster), a Biennale Song will be released, which will be played every hour on the hour. Visitors are invited to accompany it with their voices or the musical instruments provided. There is a bar designed by Sami+Kuba, ice cream, and something to eat. You can sit outside or inside. All are welcome to be a guest.
Open continuously for 24 hours
